1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Houdini Locksmith website at houdinilocksmithvan.com, or by using any of our locksmith services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, you must not use our website or services.

2. Mobile Service Only — No Walk-Ins Accepted

Houdini Locksmith operates exclusively as a mobile locksmith service. We do not accept walk-in clients at any of our locations — including but not limited to Vancouver, Burnaby, North Vancouver, Coquitlam, and Richmond. Our registered business address in Burnaby, BC is used solely for administrative, licensing, and office purposes and is not accessible to the public. All locksmith services are performed exclusively at the customer's specified location. Attending any of our addresses without a prior appointment or dispatch confirmation will result in no service being provided. There are absolutely no exceptions to this policy.

3. Service Area

Houdini Locksmith provides mobile locksmith services throughout Vancouver, Burnaby, North Vancouver, Coquitlam, Richmond, and the surrounding Lower Mainland of British Columbia. Service availability in specific locations may vary. Call (236) 886-6269 to confirm service availability in your area before requesting a dispatch.

4. Pricing and Quotes

All prices are quoted before any work begins. The price quoted is the price you pay — we do not add hidden fees or surprise charges after the job is complete. Prices may vary depending on the complexity of the job, the type of lock or vehicle, and the time of service. Emergency and after-hours calls may be priced differently. All quotes provided by phone or in person are free and carry no obligation.

5. No Fix = No Pay Guarantee

If Houdini Locksmith is unable to resolve your locksmith issue, you will not be charged for the service call. This guarantee applies to all standard lockout, lock change, and key replacement services. It does not apply to situations where the customer requests work to be stopped before completion, or where the job cannot be completed due to factors outside our control such as pre-existing damage, missing vehicle ownership documentation, or denial of access.

6. Pre-Existing Damage

Houdini Locksmith is not liable for any pre-existing damage to locks, doors, vehicles, or surrounding surfaces that exists prior to our arrival. Our technicians will always attempt non-destructive entry first. In rare cases where destructive entry is the only option — such as a severely damaged lock — this will always be discussed and agreed upon with the customer before proceeding.

7. Response Times

Estimated response times provided at the time of dispatch are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Response times may be affected by traffic conditions, weather, distance, and technician availability. We make every effort to arrive within the estimated time and will communicate any significant delays to you directly.

8. Senior Discount

A 10% senior discount is available to customers 65 years of age and older. The discount must be requested at the time of booking — it cannot be applied retroactively after the job is complete. The discount applies to labour charges only and may not be combined with other promotions.

9. Proof of Ownership

For vehicle locksmith services, customers may be required to provide proof of vehicle ownership or identity before work begins. This is a standard security practice to protect vehicle owners and ensure our services are not used unlawfully. Houdini Locksmith reserves the right to refuse service if satisfactory proof cannot be provided.

10. Limitation of Liability

Houdini Locksmith's liability in connection with any service is limited to the amount paid for that specific service. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from the use of our services. We carry full liability insurance for all work performed.
